So far behind!!!

No, I did not fall from the face of the earth! I've just been totally undescribably swamped with work work work!! Which is a great thing in this economy!! My "real" job is doing well, and my "play" job is doing even better! For anyone that has called me, emailed me or needed me....I'M SORRY! My daughter graduated high school (YAY KYLEE!!!!!) and had a big grad reception and that has monopolized my time recently. I promise I will get all the pictures that I am behind on out soon!!!! Thank everyone for being so patient while I spent time with my family!!! Lots of posts to come - I'll give you some peeks of what I have been working on lately!! But first, here is my beautiful, sweet, GRADUATED, daughter!

What a sweet sweet family! It didn't take us long to get this session done - everyone did exactly what they were supposed to and we were outta there! Although we got delayed for a moment trying to fish the flip flop out of the lake......:) OHHHHH...and if anyone recognizes any of these people - don't say a word! The pics are a surprise for their parents, but they don't know my website address! :)

Excuse my mess...

Excuse the current look of my blog. I've been wanting to make some changes for a while. I wanted to make all the changes myself so I am having to do lots of research (and learning). It's going to take me a few days...or longer....to get it all back together. I created a new header that I'm wanting to use but to do that I needed to change some sizes of my page, then the pics looked small so I'm going to change the size of my pics....ugh. The list goes on and on!! Look for a new and improved look soon though!! Thanks for looking! And I have several shoots lined up the next few days - expect more pics soon!

Just for fun.

My first-cousin's daughter just happened to tag along on a senior shoot this week. I made her my assistant. Note: if anyone EVER tags along (which I recommend at all times) on a shoot with me, you automatically become my assistant! And don't be surprised when I say, "Ashlea, DANCE!" Of course Ashlea looked at me like I was crazy, but I really wasn't - I was being serious! It's great to have a friend along when taking pics. Because when I tell my assistant to dance or sing or whatever I happen to have on my mind that day, the subject usually smiles. A REAL smile, not a fake one! Anyway, took some pics of my assistant this day. Thought her mom might like them. Trying to be nice. lol

Our new pet....

I bought a lamb...for Easter pictures. Problem is - my kids have become VERY attached to "Buddy". And I believe Buddy is now attached to us. He kisses on us and will lay in our lap and go to sleep. We (okay...so it's not "we", it's really my Uncle Paul) are now in the process of fencing in Buddy a place to live permanently. I think he's going to be very happy. I think he's going to have some new goat friends and a brand new little Great Pyrenese puppy - of course, Milly isn't going to be little for very long. She grows up to be a giant, but she will take good care of the goats and Buddy.
